Register for Photo 24Photo 24 is free 24-hour photo shoot in London starting at noon 1 July and ending literally 24 hours later. Now in its fifth year this unique event is hosted by Photography News in association with Fujifilm. The event is open to all photographers regardless of ability or brand preference: all you need is a passion for photography and stamina! You can stay for as long as you want and there is no obligation to shoot for the full 24 hours.
If you like the idea of attending Photo 24 but are concerned that you will be on your own, don’t worry – you will be able to buddy up with a fellow photographer. There will also be a phone hotline on the day if you need a buddy during the quieter times.
Thanks to our association with Fujifilm we are able to offer free short-term loans of its cameras and lenses including the medium-format GFX and fabulous X-T2 so you’ll get the chance to take few pictures in actual situations to assess their performance. More details on this will be provided to successful applicants.
How to register for Photo 24
Please fill in the form below by midnight Sunday 7 May 2017. One registration entitles you to one ticket, so if you have friends who would also like to come along, they must each complete a registration form. Please ensure that each of you adds your friend’s name into the specified box within the entry form.
We expect demand for places be high. Once registration has closed your application will be entered into a ballot. If you and friends have registered and have named each other, this will be taken into account if you are selected. Within 10 days of the closing date you will be informed as to whether you have been awarded a place.
Optional photo events
Photo 24 is free but we do offer optional paid-for events to enhance your experience of the day. These only go ahead if there are sufficient bookings, so if you are interested you must book and pay as soon as possible. Full details of these events will be sent to successful Photo 24 applicants but so far we have the opportunity to take part in the Up to the 02 climb with a camera at sunset, photograph sunset from the London Eye and the chance to shoot a vintage London bus at iconic spots around the city.
