Jessops launches three day Photographic Break in the Lake District
The Lake District has much to offer photographers of all abilities and backgrounds with opportunities to take spectacular shots everywhere you look. Jessops has curated a three-day getaway for photography enthusiasts to capture its majestic landscapes; from gorgeous lakes, mountains and waterfalls, to woods and fells set against one of the most beautiful back drops the UK has to offer. The experience will be supported with the expertise and guidance of the Jessops Academy team who will be on hand to help students improve their landscape photography and take stunning photos during the trip.
The Jessops Academy has launched a brand new photography experience for 2017. The new course will see students retreat to the wild of the British countryside to learn how to take impressive photos of the Lake District’s vast horizons and breath-taking lakes and woodlands. The three day photographic break will join the Academy’s impressive roster of17 photography courses, workshops and experiences available at Jessops nationwide.
Day one begins with a brief introduction and theory session. The Jessops academy team will guide students on what settings and practical applications to consider in order to achieve the best composition. After a practice shoot, the group will then make its way to the first sunset location.
Day two begins with a sunrise high in the Langdale pikes focusing on gradual neutral density filters and building long exposures. The day will then continue photographing with a photo walk taking in stunning scenery of Lake Windermere, completing the day with a second sunset location.
Day three will see students capture some of the most breath-taking locations on offer in the Lake District, starting with sunrise at the atmospheric Castlerigg Stone Circle and a beautiful scenic tour of Derwent water.
