Nikon Adds Two New Action Cameras to its KeyMission Action Camera Series

KeyMission 360, KeyMission 170, and KeyMission 80 introduce new ways of experiencing adventures

Nikon is pleased to announce the release of the KeyMission series of action and wearable cameras, designed to help users share their missions, from the everyday to the extreme, and the stories behind them. Earlier this year, Nikon announced the KeyMission 360 – a tough, wearable action camera capable of recording true 360° video in 4K UHD. Today, Nikon unveils two more cameras in its action series, the KeyMission 170 and KeyMission 80.

The shockproof and waterproof KeyMission 170 captures dynamic 170° wide-angle 4K UHD videos and vivid images. With intuitive interfaces and simple controls, even first-time action camera users can record their personal missions effortlessly. Versatile shooting modes like Slow Motion, Superlapse movie and Time-lapse movie are available for creating dramatic scenes for any adventure.

The ultra-slim KeyMission 80 is a tough, wearable camera designed for the quick shooting of stills and movies, enabling users to record every moment of their experiences as it happens. Featuring an exclusively-designed small NIKKOR lens for high quality images, it is also equipped with a second camera with 4.9 million effective pixels, and an LCD viewing monitor for easy selfies.

KeyMission 360 and KeyMission 170 support the SnapBridge 360/170 app, which enables the camera’s remote shooting, and movie editing. KeyMission 80 supports the SnapBridge app, allowing the camera to be constantly connected to a smart device and automatically transfer photos. With SnapBridge connectivity, users can now transfer and share their adventures online easily.

Nikon has also introduced a wide range of optional mounts and accessories. For hands-free shooting, Vented Helmet Strap Mounts, Chest Mounts and Surfboard Mounts ensure every moment is captured. Handy Grips prevent the user’s body from being caught in the frame during handheld shooting. These versatile mounts and accessories will take the cameras through the toughest roads and scale the highest peaks.
